Hi, my name is Michael Khatib. I am an Australian Lebanese living in Sydney. Although I have never been to Lebanon, I have a keen interest in the Lebanon-Israel conflict.
I have set up this site to contribute in spreading the word of what is really happening in the Lebanon-Israel struggle. There are people who give up their comfortable and luxurious lives to travel to places like Lebanon and Palestine to protest against Israeli oppression and to help the homeless, sick and hungry. Some have even given their lives - Rachel Corrie the American activist was crushed by a bulldozer in 2003 while protesting against a house demolition in Gaza. I'll be honest and say that I'm not as noble as these volunteers are. That said, the least I can do is include some facts on this site and record my thoughts and opinions on the Lebanon-Israel issues and hopefully change people's views for the better; so that they see the truth.
